Keeping him would be a serious mistep by Loomis.

Where is he going and what's the compensation?

Olave would be wise to walk.
Go find greer pastures

Man, Jabari Greer would lock Olave down in coverage. Show some respect!

Trade to Pittsburgh. They are winning now but Aaron Rodgers needs more weapons than just DK Metcalf if they want to keep winning. They have the cap space both this year and next to take on his 5th year option.

Steelers get Chris Olave / '26 6th ......Saints get '26 4th / '27 4th / '27 5th

2nd + WR

2nd + 5th

(2) 3rds + (2) 4ths

We should simultaneously ship out Cooks for a 5th either during the season or before the draft.

We should also trade Taysom for our 4th back from Denver

Ruiz for a 4th

Kamara for a ???

We are definitely getting more than (2) 4th's and a 5th. And the Steelers aren't trading for him after trading for DK. Olave trade starts at (1) 3rd.

Now the Steelers are the team rumored to be interested in Brandon Cooks for a 5th.

You’d be lucky to get a 5th for him. With his history of injuries, lazy routes and cowardly play, he is not going to pull much value

I think we keep him unless someone offers us a second round pick or better, which I don’t think anyone will.

Sometimes Olave looks great. Often, he seems like he somehow has hands of stone and a body made of glass

Unless we getting a 2nd and more back. I’d hang on to him.

We just traded what’s basically a low 3rd rounder for a 50 year old receiver that hasn’t caught over 500 yards yet.

Olave put together back to back 1k yard seasons and is only 25.

And will be do a huge contract with substantial concussion concerns. He needs to be traded so that we do not commit a huge contract to a good, not great, WR.

I like the idea of trading him to Pittsburgh. Id like to get a 3rd and send back a 6th.

Can't see Loomis doing this though. Its why we need a new GM who is free of past mistakes from previous regime.

Arizona for a 3rd.

Harrison hasn't been all that impressive and all they have is McBride after that. Seems like a need there. Get a guy that can potentially open things up for Harrison

The Olave trade is literally the biggest reason we are bad. It would be greener pastures without him.

Interesting...I don't see any greatness from him. Serviceable WR but more often than not a JAG that catches the ball and immediately goes down. Not a game changer.

Jaguars have 13 picks in 2026 and their WRs are lacking. Sitting at 4-1, they would be a target to watch. They hold (3) third round picks and (3) fifth round picks

Toooooo much. You’ll have the Saints starting Kamara’s lawn crew with that many trades.

We need a #1 WR and don’t have one. We have two good #2s (Olave & Shaheed) and a guy (Cooks). I’m not sure what Vele is yet. I feel like he’s barely used. But if we had a true #1 WR, Olave would look great in the slot and on the other teams 2nd or 3rd CB.
