Did we go down? I thought it was closer to 32..

But yeah, easy over. I'm looking for us to be .500. Even if we falter early, we have no reason to tank and the assets to move for a late run..

I dont think it will be close to 30. Either 15-20 or 40-50

Mavericks at 39.5 seems kind of crazy?

Think they will be a lot better, but I guess the thought is Kyrie won’t be back at all. AD and Flagg will cause fits.

Traded an unprotected first round pick in a year odds makers have you as the fifth worst team in the nba.

That trade still seems like a typo

The same odd makers that had the Pelicans and Pacers at 46.5 games last year?

That tells me (2) things.

1. The odd makers don't know shite
2. Those same odd makers expected a healthy Pelicans team to have the same record as the NBA champion challengers Indiana Pacers.

Can we please tone down the pessimism about 80% on the trade? Go ahead and be upset about giving away an unprotected pick but the same people that want to bitch about that pick being a top 5 pick is more ridiculous than the actual trade itself.

I don’t know why you got any downvotes. This is 100% truth. I can’t wrap my head around potentially giving away a top 5 pick for peanuts. Dumars may be better than Griff but he’s off to a terrible start with that ridiculousness

the trade was lopsided and unnecessary but has nothing to do with the win total this year. I’m not optimistic regardless

they are going to be really bad when Zion is off. If he doesn’t turn into an Ironman 30 wins is a stretch

They won 21 games with all the injuries playing a bunch of street level scrubs while tanking. There's no incentive to tank this year. They will win more than 30 games. How much more will depend on health obviously. Besides, there will be teams who will tank hard for the draft. We won't be one of them. It's an easy bet.

I like the over and also ask: how many games must Zion play for the Pels to hut 31 wins? I say about 45.

Tatum hurt, Horford/Holliday traded away. That number seems about right. If Brown misses any time, they are bad.

I would take the over on this.
Should be an easy cover barring major injuries except that we always have major injuries.

I said I wasn’t going to get excited about this season but here I am betting on Zion to win MVP and now this over.
And I bought tickets on row 6 behind the Pels bench for the first home game. Will be my first time seeing Zion play, assuming he actually plays in the 2nd game of the season.
