No doubt in my mind accidents are down because of auto braking technology, lane change warnings, etc. getting more and more common place. It's the main driver ( pun intended) of decreasing rates. Been saying for several years now this was inevitable benefit of collision avoidance technology advancing.

My commercial policy had a small claim against it this year and still saw a 12% decrease. Talk about a relief

Just got my Progressive renewal and it went down. Only about $20/mo, but still, it's down and not up.

Mine renews this month and went up $1k for the year. Same cars and no claims, tickets, or anything else. About to call my agent to see what the deal is since other people’s are going down.

I have State Farm for home and auto. My auto went up around $10/month for two vehicles. For now I'm staying with State Farm because my renewal this month for homeowners insurance was much lower than other options I priced.

Finally some good news. Now if only my insurance company would notice I haven’t wrecked since 2009.
