Do they have someone better waiting in the wings? It's his first year starting. I think it depends on how the rest of the year goes

If you're UT you don't trot this out again in 26. Not with the portal. He's atrocious.

He needs to go away so fans can pretend he doesn’t exist. He’s the kingdom of the crystal skull of the manning family. He’s so bad he could ruin the whole thing

Im laughing at all the media now that hyped him up all off-season because of his last name.

Hugh Freeze would take Arch in a second. He sees a lot in Arch. Perfect for Freeze’s crap QB system where crap QBs come in and fulfill their full promise of being even crappier.

If he is willing to take a pay cut, he could opt out and play for Saints next season. Can’t be worse for each

I certainly hope we do.

When he was being recruited, a lot of knowledgeable people said that he wasn't anywhere near the class of his uncles as a recruit. After his first year or 2 at Texas, word was that he's a bust and they started the "he'll transfer to Tulane" meme.

Then all of a sudden, he's one of the best quarterbacks in the country.
I suspect this is all a bunch of ESPN created nonsense (as so much of the nonsense in college sports is).

Oklahoma might frick them up next week. Still got at UGA, A&M, frisky Vandy, and a trip to Starkvegas.

Elite college QB recruiting kinda reminds me of corporate recruiting. No matter how great a job the head hunters do of bringing in talent, there's a lingering Manning problem.

I would have argued but we did take Finley.

Remember when he was too good to opt-in to be in the NCAA football game last year because he was “focused on football, not video games” when all he had to do was just sign off and collect the $600 that EA gave to around 10,000 other CFB players who opted in? Then suddenly a few weeks later he allegedly got paid much bigger bucks and started doing ads for EA and was in the game.
