Not knowing that Florida and Clemson would suck, I, for one would have taken a 4-1 record going into the bye week. I am pretty sure 90% of you guys would have too.

Relax

seriously. we are 4-1 and held a top 3 offense to 24 points and lost by 5. if we can have a 25% increase in offensive efficiency, we can win out.

these rantards on here wants to fire every coach 24/7. its absurd

You just gonna leave out the part where we ran for 53 yards against a terrible rush defense

That’s the thing… with this defense, we don’t need the offense to do a 180 and make “drastic” improvements… we just need a little improvement which can flip one-score losses to one-score wins.

There’s still hope to get to 10-2. Hopefully they use this off week to really make the tweaks/changes on offense that are necessary for improvement.

Gotta go 3-0 in these next 3 games, and everything is still in reach just needing one of those road wins at Bama and OU.

That’s why I love this board. After we dominate South Carolina, everyone will be booking their tickets to Atlanta again.

It is not the record it is how the QB played and was not replaced.

People aren't upset about being 4-1. Were upset about our offense looking like dogshit and the head coach trying to gaslight us.

I predicted 10-2 and that we would be 4-1 at this point. Hopefully, the offense gets better

Nick Saban preached over and over again that The Process is far more important than the Results. If you are 100% committed to doing the fundamentals properly long before the season even begins then the results will take care of themselves.

When you come on this board and flash the results without any regard to the process then you are a damn fool.

Anyone with any clue about how football is supposed to be played isn’t happy with what we see right now. There are deep fundamental flaws that are going to make The Results at the end of the year, when it matters, unacceptable.

This is NOT a playoff team. It’s not. This is a team that’s going 8-4, 9-3 at the very best. If in year 4, after going all in on the portal, and having a 5th year SR QB, that’s good enough for you then you don’t give a damn about having a championship contending football program.

I’ll put my pitchfork back in the shed for the time being if we beat A&M and are 7-1 headed into the next bye.

The way the game was coached hurts way more than the loss

I get what you are saying but there are overwhelming signs of trouble.

After the Tiitanic hit there was plenty of people saying relax, this ship is unsinkable.

People are not just upset over the loss but the seeming total inability to adapt and bad decisions by coaches and players. The season is finite and there isn't an unlimited amount of time to address the problems before another season is gone along with millions of $$$.

It certainly is not one person causing our issues. For me, LSU has 4 top players that must play up their expectations for LSU to be a good to very good.
Nuss
Perkins
Hallcey
Whit Weeks
After watching the game and some film, I can only one played up to expectations.
We just can't continue with that

Bingo.

LSU didn't just have an uncharacteristically bad game offensively vs. Ole Miss. It was simply a continuation of what has been a season long issue. Only this time the defense couldn't do quite enough to bail out a pathetic offensive performance. An issue that was questioned 3 weeks ago and lead to a blow up by the HC. But rather than do anything to substantively address the VERY CLEAR problems, the staff just kept on with the status quo...eventually leading to a very predictable loss.

It is possible to both win AND also recognize while winning weakness that need to be proactively addressed in order to avoid them leading to a loss in future games. The Florida game was that opportunity. Realistic fans recognized that immediately. Yet, BK did nothing other than bitch at the media/fans for pointing out the problem.

So yes, fans are annoyed. Not because LSU is 4-1. But because there is little reason to believe the staff is going to fix any of the issues that led to the "1" in the L column. Because of that, there's reason to assume that 1 will increase.

I wondered how long it would take some of you who were pissed with the way they looked last Saturday to brush it aside and forget how bad it looked. Don’t get me wrong, I hope they can turn it around a little, also, but I’m not expecting big things from this coaching staff. Right now this offense is a turd, no matter what color you paint it! My point is, don’t get all bent out of shape again Saturday week if they come out looking the same way against SC. You should expect it until this staff proves otherwise!

I think a lot of people on here, are embarrassed. The media had this team propped up because of a complete failure at evaluating not only us, but Clemson. And with Brian Kelly acting like it was the designed game plan to play like shite against Fla, or that there were simple things coaching wise that could easily be corrected, the media just kept on propping us up as contenders. Now, we were exposed as pretenders. Embarrassment is a hard thing to get over.
