Did anyone ask CBK why could our 5 not block their 3?

I would like to know his answer and what specifically he's going to do about it

Sometimes we had 6 blockers with the running back.

Pretty sure on the one sack, there were 6 blocking 3

Any of media ask that question?

Why? So he could call them spoiled again?

Because there has to be some one on one blocking.

Because our qb moves like he has cement shoes. And refuses to run the ball.

Imagine his answer would have been:
"Look, it starts with me and I gotta coach em better. At the same time, they, as players, have to go out and execute. And we didn't".
"Look, we had 4 guys drafted off of last year's o-line and it takes time to develop. These situations that require 6 blocking 3 can be tough and require precise coordination. Otherwise, it can be like telling both your kids to feed your dog. It will likely result in the dog never being fed".

“Look, I’m going through menopause. You cannot expect me to make detailed and important coaching moves when I’m in this phase of life.”

I get what you are saying but what were the other 8 doing on defense, and more importantly how many were in the box? a 3 man front doesn't mean you can run at will against them if the lbs and safeties are playing down hill. With the passing we have seen from Nuss all year I think most defenses are not a bit concerned about long throws. I wish someone could tell me how many pass plays have been 5 yards or shorter. Yes our rushing offense is crap...but so is our passing offense.

Tackles look like they’re on skates. Rarely a clean pocket. The line is not nasty at all. They look like they’re practicing most of the time. I won’t even comment on the run blocking.

Lady Liberty should not get touch when a team rushes 3 and your are protecting with 6.

And last years O-Line was terrible run blocking. Watch film from last year and this year, much the same. The O-line does not know what to do and there is no scheme to run blocking. Anyone that watches other teams or film knows run blocking requires finesse, and its as if our O-line has not knowledge of what or how to block. Only difference with last year the O-line last year could pass block, this years line, not so much. Coaching is the problem, period.

This is what I’ve noticed most over the last couple years. Davis is a great recruiter and really nice guy. It’s almost like his attitude affects the approach of our O-line. I want to see some aggression from our O-line. I see you take the man in front of and drive him to the dirt.
I want a line that attacks their blocks in run game and makes the rushers feel uncomfortable in pass protection.
I think that attitude comes directly from the position coaches. I want us to call less RPO and more straight runs and let these line fire off the ball without any concern.

Did it look to you like the lbers and safeties were playing downhill?
Not enough runs to tell TBH. So when we did run the 3 DL were making all the tackles??
My point is the number of DL doesn't matter as much as how many are in the box. Also we didn't try enough runs. Our offense this year is predominately passes in the flat, very little success throwing deep passes. I would think any DC studying film of LSU 2025 offense would keep most of their defense withing 10 yards of LOS. Our running game is non existent...is that bc of play calling or blocking? Our downfield passing game is terrible...wouldn't making the defense defend deep help our run offense out?
If it is obvious to me I am sure DC's see Nuss has an arm issue and his downfield passes aren't crisp or accurate...wg=hich makes LSU pretty easy to defend.

My thinking on this is that unfortunately their 3 guys are better, stronger and faster than our 5 guys are…

Either the DL was making the tackle or the LBer easily made the play because our OL hardly ever gets to the second level because we refuse to run anything other than a zone blocking scheme. LBers and safeties don't have to play downhill to stop the run. Our running game is so slow to develop, they can read the play as it's happening and fill the hole.

seems smart for a DC to run this scheme against us then
