Hollywood wants to shutdown AI and will need help from certain politicians. What say you?

For so long Hollywood has controlled the narrative, using beautiful humans to convey their message. That message is about to change and it is definitely an AI I can appreciate knowing it can not be contained to one political or religious vacuum.
Maybe AI takes over "The VIEW"!!
Tilly will grow on you.

Yeah America in the main has zero compassion for Hollywood Babylon.

I'm sure if they bribe enough politicians they will get restrictions put in place.

I wonder if the actors that use the same agency that signs this AI will drop their representation.

The first casualties of AI are the people creating fake worlds like AI creates.
I don't believe AI will ever be able to weld a pipe, drill an O&G well, wire a building, install HVAC, lay asphalt, etc. Can AI assist in these projects? Sure, but they are not taking over. Even in Hollywood AI is not fully taking over. You still have real people directing and managing these AI characters.
Plus, after the newness is worn off Tilly will eventually be passe'.

No. Let it burn (and I already hate the AI slop on YouTube).

Who do you think will control what the AI characters say?

What a joke. Hollywood can't run fast enough to replace $20 million salaries with AI once it is good enough to consistently emote correctly.

We’ve been watching movies and shows with CGI characters for years. I don’t have a problem with AI unemploying Hollywood at all. I get sick listening to those insufferable actors that “know what’s best for us.”
And it’ll be the end of those fricking award shows.

Kinda ironic that the Daily Show produced that.
Most of the shite for brains that would buy into that are their libtard viewers....

Great, because CGI characters that don't blend in with the real world are always the best part of movies.

A good parallel for AI generated entertainment will be cartoons and animated entertainment.
The market is only so big. AI will capture some of the market but audiences will still demand real people.
Tilly will never be able to sign autographs on Hollywood Blvd.

Time for some actors to learn how to code
Posted on 10/1/25 at 12:51 pm to Timeoday
Screw them. They better learn to code.

It doesn't matter to me because I probably haven't watched a new movie in 10+ years, but the future looks like a nightmare.
I imagine the estates of dead actors will begin selling their likenesses. Soon we'll have movies that were never meant to be made.
Groucho Marx, John Cazale, and Robert Mitchum star in: Brokeback Three-way: The Trans-Connection.

Hollywood will no longer be a thing in short time. It will be user driven. You will pay for a subscription to some sort of AI agent. You will tell it what type of movie or show you want to watch. They may even have options and it’ll spit out a custom show or movie.
