The Japanese are very proud and protective of their ethic and cultural heritage and won’t sacrifice it on the DEI/Globalist altar. Solid alliance in that respect.

Authoritarian? Does their emperor have that much power? I think it's a very orderly, clean society. Trump brings order. Hence the respect they have for him.

Of every country on earth, I want Japan on my side. They are conservative, have hot women, and will fight to the death if they have to. Time to fully rearm them.

Japan is no fan of China or NoKo. Neither is Trump. Plus, the Japanese culture itself finds strong, masculine and principled men to be very honorable. Sense the end of WWII, Japan has been really our most staunch "ride-or-die" ally. Used to be Japan and Australia, but the aussie government has been completely cuckolded.
Also, it doesn't hurt that Trump had an incredibly good friendship and mutual respect with Shinzo Abe (RIP), who is still a very respected figure in Japan.
There aren't many places I'd actually like to visit outside of the US, but Japan is on the short list of places I would.

I heard it explained once a long time ago. Essentially if you look at Japanese culture, film and art in particular from the end of WW2 moving forward, they have this incredible adoration for American culture. The theory is that this is born out of our defeat of the Japanese Empire and their unconditional surrender. The emperor they worshipped was defeated and so they began worshipping American culture… Trump is kind of a larger than life embodiment of the old American spirit and culture.
