How would you react if your wife/GF became pregnant with another man's child?

I imagine it would be difficult to just up and leave, especially if you're madly in love with the woman.
I know this sounds like a Jerry Springer scenario but I have an acquaintance this happened to so it's top of mind

Happened to a family member. Girl he was dating got pregnant. Family had a big baby shower for them. He bought a house and moved her in during pregnancy. She had the baby and His name went on the BC. About a year later he finds text messsges in her phone from an ex. He starts to wonder. He had DNA done and baby wasn’t his. His parents were devastated. They were very close to the baby. Shitty part was he had to pay child support for 5 months until he could get his name off the BC. Ended up costing him $10K in legal fees.

I guess it depends on how old the child is when you find out? Finding out immediately after the child is born *might* make it easier to peace out? Don’t know. Don’t have kids. Can’t imagine being able to trust someone after that though.
