I’m still most perplexed by our play selection on the two point attempt. How is that even something that is in our playbook, let alone on the shortlist of plays to call near the goal line?

Would have walked into the endzone if LT would have blocked the DE

2 or 3 of the oline and sharp waited a second to play football. Unfortunately their players didnt and walked to the rb

The two point did not matter! This team was not going to compete in overtime! The offense was embarassing the whole game

It was a joke of a call. I mean, we all saw our running game and our OL run blocking up until that point. Zero deception

They had just gone on an 80 yard 15 play six-minute drive for a touchdown. Did you miss that?

The offense played terrible for much of the game, but they gave us a shot with that 80 yard drive. If the defense makes a stop we had a chance.

The 2-pt attempt really was an awful play call. I thought they’d try to hit the TE like they did against Bama in ‘22.

Sharp’s block wasn’t great. Decent chance that guy makes the play.

Maybe, maybe not. It was the correct decision to go for it. The actual play call is what made my brain melt.

Sloan does that to a brain. Worst play caller I can remember in a long time.

Weird call but our LT could not have whiffed on his guy any worse if he tried. Terribly poor oline performance.

that was my thought exactly......what was that??? That is the extent of our imaginative offense? Please tell me an LSU coach isn't that completely. football ignorant....and BK approved of it, without a doubt. Insane

You are most likely correct, but at the time, it was our only chance to win the game, and we regurgitated that play and effort.

I was shocked at that play call. What the hell were they thinking?

I would of like to see a wildcat formation, take the OB out.

go back to the super bowl the patriots won over the falcons when down 28-3

two of their 2 point conversions were nice.

1) direct snap to RB
2) basic pick play out route (like we did against bama in 2022 in OT)

and we could take it further just do a statue of liberty play like boise state did to OU in OT years back.

all 3 of the above are great 2 point plays

if the LT SNEEZES on the DE we walk in. Line play has been so soft and as much a disappointment as Nuss.

horrible play by the LT. He took a step inside when the DE was lined up on his outside shoulder & the TE didn't even try. To the previous posters point: if you rewatch that play in slow motion you could drive a bus through the hole the rest of the line created.
