I mean, this is good right? Can we go ahead and let the government shut down now?

We’ll make more money off of the resignations than we do on tariffs.

What products will we have to outsource?

Which foreign countries are sending plane loads of head hunters to offer the now available workers new jobs NOT to be done from their US home bases?

Do they all feel that they are irreplaceable?

In the Guardian story there's a picture of a protester with a sign that reads "We Need Oceanographic and Atmospheric Scientists.

I think they haven’t been working, just drawing a paycheck for a few months now, part of the buyout agreement for new hires on probation. So they are resigning instead of being terminated, last minute.

Is this the correct answer to "but who will pick our fruit?"
