Drunk teens on property; Shreveport restaurant owner arrested

Byrd's Homecoming was this past weekend.

I'm not sure if he has a kid that goes to school at Byrd or not. If he did, I could see him getting into trouble for allowing the party.
It seems like a stretch he would get arrested for this just by renting out a facility not knowing what the plan was.
Also, he was arrested at 1:40 am, so I'm guessing he was on the premises.
Anyone from Shreveport have any more details?

Christopher Shane Rodgers, 54, was booked into the Shreveport City Jail on three counts of contributing to the delinquency of juveniles and one count of letting a disorderly place.
Shreveport police Cpl. Chris Bordelon said officers were called to a disturbance around midnight Saturday at 9133 Mansfield Road, the site of Shane’s Seafood and Bar-B-Q.
A group of Byrd High School students reportedly were renting the property, Bordelon said.
“When we got there, some of the kids had been involved in a fight,” he said. “There were several really drunk kids … and the kids implicated (Rodgers) in some way.”

Maybe he has a kid at Byrd? My wife was saying that. But he is an a-hole and everyone hates him.

He lives in bossier in the my peoples neighborhood, not sure he would have a kid at Byrd...
He doesn't sell beer because its the Christian thing to do

He had some legal trouble years ago and probably can't get a license. Seems like he was busted for getting a prostitute.

He's a known piece of shite in town. Offering to partner with folks opening a restaurant and then does some devious shite to screw them over EVERY TIME. Usually with folks who don't have any $, but bust their arse to get something going. He'll partner up as a savior investor and eventually take the restaurant away from the poor dude who did everything to make it happen. Always targeting the hard working immigrants who don't know shite about contracts or whatever, just making really good food. F him.

Shane is a good guy when you are just chatting. His actions throughout his career in business around Shreveport / Bossier bring his character into question.

I have heard this about him and I think Ono, the Hawaiian food truck. He got them into the old El Chico building by my house. I can't remember the specifics though about what exactly he did to them that led to them closing down.

No, he screwed over both..And you can make safe assumptions about the teens that gather on Mansfield Rd.

His daughter does go to Byrd. I e heard a lot of stories about him and his shady business practices, buying up all the local papers with his mug shot from his last arrest, hookers, and more. Daughter did attend Calvary but went to Byrd for high school.
