How did Trevor Penning look yesterday?

I had to listen to the whole game on the radio yesterday. He was never mentioned so I'm assuming that's good?

He looked infinitely better than Ruiz, who went out with an injury (thankfully)

I saw him get blown up on one play but over all IMO he looked fairly well for his first game of the season.

it may have been the first play of the game but he got beat and his man through Alvin for a loss.
There was also another play where a Blitzer ran right by him and I swear he didn't even know it. But that could have been because maybe the protection wasn't called correctly. I don't know
The guy did not sack Rattler on the play but He threw it before he wanted to and I think it was incomplete but I could be wrong on that.
I don't believe he got called for any penalties and the Saints were able to run the ball pretty well. So it'll be interesting to see what various sites have him graded but I would say he had a pretty good day.

Looked solid to me. Did good in the run game. Shoulda been moved to lg after his rookie year like so many on here said.

We drafted a Center to play Guard.

All centers SHOULD be able to play guard, but not all guards can play center.
