Try running for Congress from a jail cell...

Its easy to tell other people they should make sacrifices. Will this guy help them out when they're sent to fort leavenworth?

He can’t make a political statement in uniform.

well, he wont be around the military for long. i guess that was his plan, make a scene, go viral, get kicked out, and then use that platform to run for congress.

This goes way beyond that. He’s encouraging a mutiny of the military.

A next generation John Kerry.

Technically, he may be right. But Eisenhower and JFK already did this to enforce civil rights.
It is a slippery slope for sure.
Anyway, guy seems like a whiny FOB bitch.

He's active duty and saying this? What are the chances he's charged and DDed? (He certainly should be.)

Grok Says:
The Posse Comitatus Act of 1878 generally prohibits federal military forces from engaging in domestic law enforcement, but there are notable exceptions where their involvement is permitted.
These exceptions stem from constitutional provisions, statutory carve-outs, or specific circumstances, and they balance the need for federal assistance with the principle of limiting military involvement in civilian affairs. Below is a detailed breakdown of the key exceptions:
Constitutional Authority:
The U.S. Constitution grants the President certain powers that can override the Posse Comitatus Act in extreme cases. For example, under Article II, the President, as Commander-in-Chief, can deploy federal troops to protect federal functions or property, such as defending federal buildings or ensuring the execution of federal laws.
The President can also act to suppress domestic violence or rebellion if state authorities are unable or unwilling to maintain order, as outlined in Article IV, Section 4, which guarantees federal protection against domestic violence upon state request.
Insurrection Act (10 U.S.C. §§ 251–255):
The Insurrection Act is the most significant statutory exception. It allows the President to deploy federal military forces, including active-duty troops, to suppress insurrections, rebellions, or domestic violence when:A state requests assistance because it cannot control the situation (e.g., a governor requests federal help during riots).
Federal laws cannot be enforced due to obstruction, such as during widespread civil unrest.
There is an insurrection against the federal government.

He is absolutely correct!

Dumb arse. Just ridiculously self destructive. You have to bust him down to private or worse to prevent The Overton Window from moving that far towards Leftist anarchy from those in the military.
Also, that guy is a jizzz gobbler.

I think he meant former captain, now dishonorably discharged.
Posted on 9/29/25 at 9:29 am to Major Dutch Schaefer
he knows his career in the military is over and this is just to curry favor with the wacko leftest that be...
Posted on 9/29/25 at 9:31 am to Major Dutch Schaefer
Sounds insurrection-y.

I have seen soooo many people miss the point... They say, IF there is a civil war, their side will loose because we have the Military.
Remember, Robert E Lee taught at West Point.
But if our Next civil war is racial, What is to stop that man from being a target? The "D" on his voter registration?
Some Democrats want to put him in concentration camps because he is White. The problem with our country they say.

lots of military terms being thrown around here sort of incorrectly. the chances that he will be dishonorably discharged are virtually zero. that requires a court martial conviction and is roughly equivalent to a felony conviction. not saying that his actions dont meet the threshold necessarily, but it's unlikely that the army will see the juice as worth the squeeze in this case. likely he'll go to a board of inquiry and will be dismissed from the service with an "other than honorable" determination. it's faster and cheaper.
also, he wont be "busted down" - it doesnt work that way with officers typically.

Hope he likes Kanas because he’s going there for an extended visit.

Yeah, grandstanding and has probably gotten to the FAFO stage quicker than he thought... Even if he had left the service, he can be recalled....
