What can Nuss do to get back into the Heisman talks? Still plenty of football left.

Have his offense run for more than 60 yards against the 100 and whatever ranked rush defense

Come back after SC game and lead the team undefeated the remainder of the schedule.
Can that happen........NAH, why, because BK isn't going to sit Nuss for anything, injured or not. And he isn't going to tell Sloan to run all new plays, which quite frankly , is our only hope. LSU needs at least a 1/2 new playbook and new play caller.

Nothing personal, but he is not a Heisman talent. BK needs to play Van Buren at times to see what he can do and properly evaluate him. In Nussmeir's defense it is virtually impossible to throw into an eight man coverage.

That doesn't stop Nuss from throwing into triple coverage, throwing off his backfoot, running straight backwards from pressure, never pushing up in the pocket even when its clean, throwing to check downs on 3rd and long, or his worse trait, never running for easy yardage.
If Nuss ran 6 times last night, he would have surpassed 50 yards rushing easily.

I believe you hit the nail on the head!!! I had high hopes for him but disappointed in his play so far. See what the other guy can do.

He doesn’t have the ability. We have to call it what it is at this point. He’s regressed and has been in the system for a while. Both burrow and Daniels exploded year two as a started. Tells me it is coaching.

start to not suck and throw 3-4 TD a game going forward.

There are things a kid can do to get more agility and explosiveness, with your legs. ANY human that puts in the work can significantly improve.
Nuss is such a high character guy and I've said I pray my son can emulate him.
That being said, he has not done those training things that can improve his overall agility. He just didn't get out on the track and train. Sucks for him and LSU. But what really sucks is that he will be forced to do those things to prepare for the NFL combine, etc. There simply are fewer and fewer spots each year in the NFL, for a less mobile qb....especially one with accuracy issues as well
