My silverado's tire pressure monitoring system died on one of my tires. I read that the dealership can relearn them if they arent dead so i tried that but it didnt work. They also claimed that since 1 tire was dead it caused the other 3 to stop working when they tried to reprogram the broken one because they couldnt sync up. Not sure i buy that but whatever. So now none of them work but the truck is 9 years old so I'm sure the other 3 were going to die soon anyway. Anyway it looks like it's kind of a pain to replace them and the dealership wants $500 to do it. I don't really need them but the warning lights are annoying. Is there anyway to turn the warning lights off?

Four TPMS valve stems should be less than $100. Pay a local tire place $20 per tire to install. Dealerships are basically theives.

I pulled the instrument panel out of my Tundra and wife's 4Runner and deleted the bulb for the TMPS warning light

They are battery powered. Be lucky you got 9 years. 500 is outrageous though.

Go to Walmart. Seriously. $30 each installed.

Just had all 4 done on my 2016 F150. 3 of mine failed within 2 weeks after 9 years.

I saw it was 29.95 at Walmart the other day when I was buying some trailer tires. Super cheap considering local shop wanted 125/tire.

Thing is I can’t figure out how to schedule it online. How do you schedule it?

I had mine done at Thibodaux Tire Friday along with an oil change. I was OTD for $304. They were $60 a piece to get replaced.

I found the same thing around where I live in Ponchatoula. 3 shops all quoted me over $100 each.

You have to call the auto dept to schedule. Or go in there.
