In the aftermath of the Charlie Kirk assasination, I told my son "today, everything changed". I couldn't articulate exactly why or in what way it would manifest itself, but I knew it had.
Several days later I woke up one morning with the phrase "We have just lost the initiative" going through my head. If you've ever seen "Blackhawk Down", it's the phrase that General Garrison utters once the Blackhawk helicopter goes down. It's the recognition that the entire mission has devolved from one of offensive to one of defensive and the soldiers who were on offense, would be lucky to get out alive.
After thinking about this for several days, a simple post on facebook made me realize exactly what that meant. One of my liberal friends posted some inane comment about the tylenol thing and referrred to the folks on the right as "evil" or something similar.
At that moment, I realized why everything had changed. The folks on the left can't gain or maintain votes by arguing the issues. They aren't better on basically any measurable metric that there is. The only 'thing' they have is that they have convinced their voters that conservatives are 'evil' and you must vote for the left because of that fact.
One of their adherants has commited an act so public and so dispicable, they can't say their supporters are standing on moral high ground. Add to that the fact that normal everyday citizens got to see at least one person they know that supports the left also support the murder of Charlie Kirk publicially without hesitation. The leaders of the left have repeated easliy disprovable lie after lie about Charlie Kirk as if it justifies his murder.
The facade has come down. The illusory moral high ground that was occupied by the left vanished instantly. For years the left desperately grasped to victimhood to allow the illusion that the right is evil, but no one believes the farce anymore.
Those on the left aren't victims, those on the left create victims. Now, nobody can deny it.

The modern left is a communist marxist movement.

They have no ideology anymore, its just a never-ending litany of "marginalized groups" they use to overthrow capitalism.

When people I know, even loosely, post stuff like that, my reply is always..." I'm worried about you, I really am. You seem to becoming a bit unhinged. You should probably get off the internet for a while and go for a walk in a park. Truly wishing you well".
That generally stops their posting and makes them second guess themselves.
If they come back with some comment, my response is, " Sorry, I'm not looking to argue, just legit worried about you. "
After that, I won't respond to anymore comments in that post no matter the nature.

Fortunately, more people who want common sense are waking up. As evident by the last election. Especially men of all cultures. Also youth are waking up in greater numbers. Like the kid of divorced parents that is getting old enough to realize it was actually the mom who was crazy all along and now wants to live with dad.

They have no issues or policy to put forward.
Other than abortion, I’m not sure you can get 80% agreement from democrats on any one issue.

I have to be honest. I'm pretty well read but I had to look up 'extirpated'.
I once heard someone describe everyones "Zombie Scenario" like this, "everyone thinks they are going to be the lone person holding off the zombie hoards. In actuallity, they are going to be one of the zombies way in the back shambling toward the hero".
I think there is a massive amount of this in the Leftist Movement. These folks think they would be the ones marching arm in arm with Martin Luther King in protest. These folks are actually the ones that would be cheering to their neighbors that James Earl Ray did the right thing. Their 'bubble' would proclaim it to be the truth and they would parrot it.
Once the culture shifts, and it will (due to recent events), it's all over for those folks. They will be socially shunned which for the 'sheep' is a fate worse than death. These people have no convictions of their own and will gleefully shift with the prevailing opinions of their crowd.

People who never face consequences for their actions get emboldened. That's the problem with the left; especially, those in power. It is like a game for them to push the envelope and see how far they can take it, even into Revolution. The law protects them for now, not because they are always following the laws, but because the law has been corrupted by Soros's DA's that he got elected across the country. Fixing that and getting rid of Antifa/ BLM super radicalized types would be a huge step in beginning to fix the problem.
Then concentrate on the schools. Get the youth right for a long term fix.
