Anyone remember this happening? I've never seen it.

First time I recall it happening was maybe 1995? There was a conga line across the Atlantic basin that year and this occurred.

Storms don’t “join” in the Fujiwhara. They flow around each other or the larger/stronger storm overtakes the smaller/weaker storm.

They don’t combine to make a “super-hurricane” like most people think.

Also it is more rare for the effect to happen in the Atlantic, but it has happened.

Yeah, I remember it well

My dad dropped me off at the driving range and one of the guys in there was a meteorologist for WBRZ who was talking to some people that recognized him. He said even he didn’t really know what was going to happen.
