Did you Prefer your High School or College Experience?

I had a great High School experience, so much fun but I’m gonna have to go with College.
I went to College in the same
town as my High School so I never got to experience what it was like to move away. But I did move out at 19 into an apartment near campus. And that first feeling of being independent is like no other when you’re young. Not having to answer to anyone but yourself. Doing whatever I wanted to do whenever I wanted. It was the best feeling.

I can't speak to now, but in my day, life at an SEC school or any other big public U is essentially spring break every day.

I was working shift work and working full time as well as going to class. Didn’t have much time for banging

Same. In college I was working 40 hours a week and attending afternoon/night classes. I had some fun but it was a complete grind. I basically lived off of 5 hours of sleep a night for 6 years.

I always told my children when they were young that college was going to be the best 4 - or more - years of their lives. Now that they have graduated from college and are in the real world, they understand exactly what I was saying.

I was off work on Tuesday and Wednesday so it allowed me more flexibility with my classes. I worked 4-midnight
One semester I worked midnight to 7 and I’d sleep in the parking lot for about and hour, brush my teeth and go to class.
Summer school i decided not to attend and I felt so much relief for that semester

Still partied my arse off, hooked up, and the trouble I got into would've hurt A LOT more if I was 18 at the time.
Not to say I didnt party in college, but the reckless crap was out of my system by then.
But feeling 10ft tall and bullet proof in HS was what I miss.
