I like to stop at the gas stations with bars on the windows, parking lot speaker salesmen and last week’s germs still floating around the bathroom. That’s just me though.

My biggest complaint about Bucees is that anytime you get close to one on the interstate you have to watch out for a Denali cutting across from the left lane at the last second to get them beaver nuggets for braxxton.

Well... one is a gas station, mostly frequented by driving age people and the other is a place for children, primarily.
If you can't see that basic difference, there's no explaining it to you.
Also, where is it in the Handbook for Adults that lighthearted, wholesome fun is verboten?

I bet you are a blast at parties. Why would a grown man worry about what other people like to do while traveling? It is totally optional for you to stop. Just tell your husband you would rather stop at the Flying J plaza.

It is a bit odd. People plan extra time on their trip to stop at Buc-ee’s. Just give me a quick stop at loves and let me be on my way.

You’ve obviously never had a Bucky’s bbq sandwich and a 72 oz dr pepper zero after 5 hours in a car full of kids on the way to Disney. It’s almost heaven.

hot take: But-ee's bathrooms are over rated.
Who ever designs them put the toilets too close to the wall, so knees are still in the wall and toilet paper mount. Does no good to have 4 feet of empty space on my right but my knees are shoved against the wall on the left
