It's a shame the program is at this point, but LSU chose to not end the current waste of time when they should have after last season. The few die-hards that will hang on until their last breath will come along soon and blame the 3 years disaster on ANYTHING but McMahon being a poor SEC coach. They'll tell you the only reason LSU has been so bad is because they wouldn't spend NIL money (an excuse that only arose last year after a 2-10 record in SEC play), but then pass off the fact LSU will be picked to finish 15th or 16th in the league despite "spending a ton of money" on transfers this offseason.
