Will Arkansas move back to final game of the year, rivalry weekend, beginning 2026?

Its really the only one that makes sense. Texas A&M plays TX and Ole Miss plays MSU. Leaves only Arky for that weekend.

We need to start a petition to move Ole Miss to Halloween weekend as well.

I guess it depends on how much their matchup with Missouri matters to them? I would think our rivalry would trump that - they only named that rivalry when Missouri joined the SEC apparently, and they had only played 5 times prior to Mizzou joining the league. I think Mizzou-OU could be a fun end of year game, or each of those teams could switch to playing Kansas and Oklahoma State as an OOC finale every year.

Oklahoma-Mizzou will be Thanksgiving and we will get Arkansas back. I don’t like the Friday game but Arkansas is by far my favorite of our post Tulane “forced rivals.”
I’m so tired of being saddled with the faggots from College Station. And it’s a travesty to not play UF, but I am happy we get the piggies back.

UT will play A&M
Ole Miss will play MSU
and realistically, OU will play Mizzou.
Or Mizzou could play Kansas while OU plays OSU in the final game as their annual OOC games like UF/FSU, UGA/GT, USC/Clemson, etc.

I’d like to have seen arky in September, ole miss last weekend of October and 8T4 end of November, but as a traditionalist (get off my lawn), Texas / 4T8 needs to be Thanksgiving weekend.

Yeah the TG weekend is ultimately the reason we ended up with Arkansas as one of our permanents. It’s absolutely going to be that again which is kind of a nice throwback.
