In the last hour it’s changed “Gundy” to “Hindu” and doesn’t recognize “Publix” or “Mahomes” as words. And those are just examples in the last few minutes. It changes all sorts of words to God knows what and doesn’t recognize all types of common proper nouns of slang
Trash product that is somehow getting worse with “AI”

I’ll bet your phone recognizes “autofellatio” by you typing in the letter “A”.

I agree , but I cant really fault it for not understand what Gundy is.
just wait until Mike and ed Orgerons podcast hits it big, then it will adapt and recognize the name.

Agreed.
I especially despise when i'm halfwat through a word, go to select the predictive text it CHANGES the moment I touch it and I end up with the wrong word.
Something is off with spacebar and letters on the bottom row too... i hit spacebar but it ends up selecting z c v or b instead.

What's a Gundy? Like Solomon Grundy?

They aren't words. They are proper names that have not yet bled into the mainstream vocabulary, like bandaid or xerox.

TIL proper nouns aren’t words and one of the most famous people on planet earth’s name hasn’t made it into mainstream vocabulary

I disabled autocorrect on my phone about 8 years ago. No desire to ever turn it back on

Hyperbole much?
You are so obtuse.
The name of a quarterback isn't in the mainstream lingo as anything more than his name. Even you can understand this.
A Mahomes isn't a thing. You don't go Mahomesing.
Publix is even more so. It's a regional chain.
If you went to Alberta, and asked if they had a Publix...it would be like asking someone in Alabama where the Tim Horton's is.
The thing is shite, sure, but not for this reason.
ETA- I typed in Mingo and got the red line. It wanted to correct to mincing.

No

What does this even mean?
The keyboard that is used by billions people and is supposed to be “smart” should absolutely recognize the name of one of the most famous people in the United States at minimum

Not everyone is a back woods retard like you

It's backwoods.
And where would the Tim Horton's in Alabama be, Einstein?

I thought about fixing it... but no... let it ride in testament to apple's crappy keyboard and auto text.

Apple sucks. Switch to the good side

How lazy are you? Just type the words you want to use. Do you really need Apple to finish your thoughts?

Tim Horton's
You are unloved and unwanted everywhere you go. You have no redeeming qualities. All the charm of an unkempt litter-box.
Why would Publix be regarded as some household term? It simply isn't. Is it a "word"? As much as any proper noun. It's a jumble of letters that makes a sound and is recognized. But it's not one the computer is going to recognize as a word because it's not that. Not in the sense you are moronically trying to make it.
Why you can't grasp that proper names are a different category is beyond me.
