“Is it safe to eat?” Question…

Left a pack of Italian sausage links in the car from 10pm to 10 am. Put in the fridge when I realized it.
Typically cook at 385° for 20+ min
Thinking I should probably just toss.

Pork left out, in a car overnight. What did that pack cost you------$5 or so if a typical size pack from the store?
Is it really worth chancing food poisoning for $5, because if you're considering eating it, my guess is you've never had food poisoning.
I have, twice and it's nothing nice and I'd have paid $100 just to be over it.
Puking out of one end and squirting out the other----all at the same time is no fun.

If you need to lose weight quickly, I say go for it.

When in doubt, throw it out.

Haven't had one of these threads in a while...
12 hours without refrigeration, what could go wrong?

We're good for at least one a month. Someone should tally the food items that have been left out. I'd wager gumbo left on the stove is in the lead. I think sausage is a new one.

I'm always one of the ones on here saying it's probably fine to eat, but yeah this one is a definite throw out.

Does that apply to family members?

Assuming you're in the South where it's mostly in the mid/upper 60's at night and into the 80's by 10am. Zero percent chance I'm eating anything raw that's been left in the car that long. Even if your car was in the shade/garage, it's been room temp for over 8 hours. Toss it

Nah, sometimes you just have to let dumb people be dumb.

Depends on what you consider living. With food poisoning, odds are you will survive, but while you are sick with it, you pretty much wish it would either kill you or let you get over it-----quickly.

Not all car wrecks kill people. So I guess that means car wrecks won’t kill you?
