Absolutely loved this play last night down on the goal line. Creative, but simple enough look to not telegraph something.

We could easily have Kaleb Jackson or Bauer line up at FB, Nuss hand to them and they pitch to either JJ8 or Durham.
Zavion would be awesome at HB on this play for more speed to the corner but may tip off the defense of a gadget play.

I’d love to see Sloan really take advantage of the speed he has

Even better would be LSU having a wildcat/option package with Johnson at QB.

It must be part of the secret playbook.

I'm not saying go full on Matt Canada, but with Brown and X. Thomas in the game you can run some serious jet out of tight formations. Then off of the motion you can run power, and it usually makes the kickout block easier.

Saints actually did this first w Zach Line at FB. It is a beautiful scheme. Very single wingish

I think we could pull this off with JJ and Nuss

No reason to have players doing things they don't usually do regularly when you have driven tinside the five. Its a recipe for disaster.

Its a FB speed option. We use to run something similar. When it works it looks beautiful.

We have Sloan as our OC, when we had Joe Brady, we saw a lot of creativity.

I remember seeing an interview with Burrow in 2019 and one thing he said Joe Brady did every week was review NFL scoring plays from that weekend. He would often adopt one and put it in the offense package for the next week. The scoring pass to CEH with 0:11 in the 1st half at Bama was one of those plays. Something nobody has seen us run before… imagine!

go full on Matt Canada,

matt had basically a reverse triple option where you had to defend the east-west jet sweep.....the north-south dive/iso/power or a Pass. under center gave us great play action.

go to 2:35 above. That is where we ran the eagles super bowl wide receiver reverse TD pass to the QB.

They have this package. Practiced it in both the spring & fall but have only used it once where Nuss ended up lining up at WR.
