ACC fines Syracuse $25,000 for faking injuries in win over Clemson

In a statement, the ACC announced that Syracuse has been fined and "reprimanded for the incident," which occurred with just over nine minutes left in the fourth quarter. The league said its review determined that multiple players, along with a coach, worked in tandem to force an injury timeout while on defense.

you're paying millions for the coach, millions for the athletes and millions in scholarship funds... only cost you 25k more for the in game strategy to secure the win. that's cheap.

Suspend the player for the next game! It’s the only way this is going to stop this crap.

Intresting. So all you people going after klubnik calling him a sore looser sure do look dumb now. I'll trust the 1st overall draft pick when he says something like this rather then listening to you knuckleheads!

I didn't think Klubnik's comments were that egregious. Lobbying for penalties after the game is a pretty lame excuse after playing like shite but whatever. I also watched the game and didn't see anything from the Orange that I thought was a flop. You should have to pay a $25k fine for saying Klubnik will be the number one draft pick. He'll be lucky to sniff the first round.
