This time was several years ago. I just keep hoping he steps aside and they bring in a young modern GM to make the upcoming BIG picks.

Agree.
Without Brees, the Saints under Loomis are 20 games under .500 (58-78) and falling further behind! What GM is still employed with that record.
He basically rode Payton & Brees coattails from 2006 to 2020.

Not saying it’s right, but we will have to wait and see on the KM hire. If he sucks, it’s likely Loomis won’t get to pick the next coach.
