I mean what other QB looks good enough to take at 1.
And I’m honestly not even sure he’s worth it. The DE from Auburn looks really good.

Mateer is good but he doesn’t impress me that much. He struggled a lot against our defense, and we aren’t really that great.

Mateer is an off platform QB and more of a runner. He’s not a 1st rd type.

Too early to see how college qb’s play out. I would trade back to 4-7 and stockpile picks.

Right now, I don't know any college QB that stands out for the first pick?
My thinking right now, is to trade down and accumulate as many picks in the draft as possible.
There's a bunch of players that need to be replaced on this team.
Get a big wide receiver and a nice pass catching tight end that can also block.
Also get the best guards available.

The Panthers drafted Clausen in the 2nd and Tony Pike in the 4th in 2010 and still took Cam Newton first overall in 2011.

Would be stupid to take a QB with first pick. We have so many holes. Half of our guys are in the last couple years before retirement. We need picks. Lots and lots of picks.
