Headed in early Saturday morning with the family for the LSU game. Been to Oxford twice, last time being 2009 (Les Miles clock-it gem). I really can't remember how or where I parked.

If anybody in the know has any good suggestions or experience, please share

Thanks

It might be difficult with the 2:30 PM game, but if you get there early enough, you can park at one of the churches downtown for like $10-$15. The money goes towards their youth groups, etc. And it’s still closer than where many of the Grove-folks have to wheel their wagons from.

They might have been the churches referenced above I can't remember, but there are a few lots RIGHT by the highway. A little bit of a walk, prob less than a mile to the stadium. You can get right onto the highway and go.

I went in 23 and bought a Parking Pass on Campus. We stayed in Collins, Ms. It was easy in and out.

Park by the softball field and walk in

The traffic out is awful so there is no reason to park central

Can you still park at Oxford high and take the shuttle?

Uh, I know where Collin’s is and that would be a 3+ hour drive to Oxford

2 years ago we parked at Oxford high which had a shuttle that ran every few minutes that also picked up after the game. It was a great setup. You could prepay or pay when you pulled up

Park as far away from the stadium and as close to the highway as possible….otherwise you will sit in traffic forever….
Going to the square is a waste of time the cover charges are outrageous and the restaurant wait is foever….. eat before you get to Oxford….one of the most unfriendliest tailgating in the SEC

Last 2 times (2023 was last time) we parked at Oxford HS and rode buses. Easy deal, IMO.

I suppose you had a good reason for staying in Collins but that’s pretty dang far from Oxford !
