Some of my coworkers today who are just casual watchers suggested with our OL/run game issues that MVB would be our best chance at making it to where we want to go. At first I’m like thats stupid, but then I thought is nuss really the guy ? His inability to run period is killing us & to add to it his arm has dropped off a lot in the passing game. Seems like we’re just sticking with him due to him sticking with us, which I don’t care about. Bench him!!

How much tape have you seen on MVB coach? What kind of rapport does he have with the first team WRs?

For the "he can maybe run better crowd"
Just so you know - Michael Van Buren ran the ball last year 69 times for negative 12 yards. Not sure how he would be able to improve the run game.

I tried to think of a constructive reply, but I'm drawing a blank. Let's just say "No", that this idea is just not very good, and move on with our day.

MVB’s inability to throw will kill us more.

MVB is not a runner and the throws i saw from him in practice wasn't as accurate as Nuss either, so how does he give us a better shot to win?

Hey numb nuts, he is injured. Didn’t come here to run. Threw for over 4,000 yards last year, so yeah, he’s not the guy…

The coaches are determined not to use the best players available.

Can we please put this to rest. MVB might develop into a QB1. But he is a long way from it.

Like it or not, Nuss is literally the only option if we want to win a championship.

Everyone hates on any suggestion about playing time or having a discussion here when one of these guys or even maybe "some of them" will be starters next season. I get what your saying though. Its not exactly like Nuss has lit it up this season either and of course all the "bus riders" are all hollering , that he is injured blah blah making excuses. The majority of what he does is very questionable anyways. He is the weak link of the team this far.

This is demonstrably false. Regardless, the suggestion that MVB is even close to ready to compete as starter means you didn't follow him last year, and you didn't follow a whole lot in the offseason.
