"What does it say when we're not allowed to make fun of our government anymore?"

"The reverence Americans once had for the institution of late night comedy has been shattered."

Late night comedy used to be comedic.

My first question for the BBC is… what did he say that was comedy or satire?

They’re ******* arresting old ladies for offending Muslims.

There is absolutely no room for criticism from the UK on this.

They’re just scared to see someone on their side of the political spectrum being held to account for supporting violent political messaging.

Are they insane (yes)

So let me get this straight. They thought Jimmy Kimmel was comedy? Is my definition of comedy wrong??? I could have sworn that comedy = funny.

A) there does not appear to be a mirror anywhere at the BBC

B) what Kimmel was saying was neither comedy nor satire

C) ABC affiliates drove this train, not the government (which is the opposite of what happens in Britain)

Freedom of speech is the right to express ideas, opinions, and information without government interference, punishment, or retaliation.

That has nothing to do with consequences for your actions. You won't be arrested.

Let’s review Biden’s record on free speech.
- Jen Psaki bragged multiple times about how their administration worked with social media companies to ban people. There is a 90 page House report on this, 900 if you count the appendices and footnotes.
- Tried to start a ministry of truth, like in Orwell’s 1984.
- On the same day one of the best journalists of the last 20 years (Matt Taibbi) testified in Congress about weaponization of government on free speech, IRS goons visited his house.
- Put the current Director of National Intelligence on a terrorist watch list for dissenting political speech.
- And that doesn’t take into account utilizing the FBI to raid J6 grannies who prayed in the Capitol for ten minutes, Roger Stone, and Peter Navarro.
