At about the 1:35 mark. CBK calming down a visibly upset Weeks (love that dude’s passion and motor). Amateur lip reading but looks like he’s saying “it’s over” and “you can still help”. Dude was incredible on the sidelines the rest of the game hyping up and cheering on his teammates from the sidelines. Leader all the way. Thought it was a good move by CBK

I thought a player had to go to the locker room after ejection?

The initial targeting rule was that the player had to leave the field. But they changed the rule and they can stay on the sidelines now.

I don’t think any ref was willing to risk their life to tell Whit that anyway

That's a fig call, watch in SloMo, the runner dropped his head. He hit his teammate harder than the runner.

I set this to the hit, you judge. Who dropped their head?

I thought the under appreciated moment was when BK got blasted along the sideline while running to call a TO. He’s almost 64 years old and he’s getting taken out every other game!

They changed that rule. Not sure when they actually changed it. I was watching a game and the announcers said they could stay on the field

Brian Kelly covered this in the press conference Monday. Someone asked if he thinks there should be separate fouls for targeting like a flagrant vs common foul and he said yes but the NCAA keeps defending it by saying concussions are down

That moment stood out to me when I saw it live too. It's easy to shite on BK, but the guy knows how to coach and lead young men.

At least football players. frick those student cameramen.

By rule it was correct but it’s a bullshite call. If they slow motion everything then pretty much every tackle is targeting.

And I was in the stadium and had no freakin clue what was going on because video replay showed nothing and you couldn’t hear referee on his microphone.

Chickenshit call if I ever seen one! He literally tried to tackle the guy with his head to the side, receiver lowered his head to actually meet Week’s head.

The only reason for this was the head drop. Unfortunate. I don't know how to avoid it except to never come in low with you head and try to use more shoulder.
