Hmmmm... going green, relying on Russia, AND promising Ukraine full throated support turns out is a terrible trifecta for energy-starved German industry no? And the cure isn't to let in a bunch of haji's now was it.

France and Germany are going off a cliff.
Germany is in three straight years of contraction with no end in sight. And that cheap Russian gas that made everything about their economy possible is never coming back.
France's debt to GDP ratio is approaching 130%, their deficit is soaring to over 6& (past the 3.5% EU rule), and no one amongst the citizenry or Political class wants to do anything about it.

They de-industrialized without any logical plan as to how their economy would work afterwards because the elites don’t care and their voting base is so indoctrinated they didn’t ask.

Cheap Russian Pipeline Natural Gas was the only way they could semi compete with China. Importing LNG is much more expensive and that is why companies are going bankrupt. Victoria Nuland and John McCain had the brilliant idea to make China a even bigger manufacturing powerhouse and have Russia supply the pipeline gas that Europe was using and give it to China since they will be needing more of it after Germany Industry collapses

What happened is the failed policies set by Germany’s Socialist Democratic parties over recent years have come to fruition. The same group who murdered 16 different candidates over a 2 week period just before elections. The same group who assassinated Charlie Kirk and cheered his death. Germany’s Left is just further along in its predictable progression of events than our Left is.
