So

feels differently....still showing a lot of love!

We have a lot of work to do on offense, but as said before, we need just enough offense to compliment an elite defense!!

How about "Herbstreit still has lots of faith in LSU, ranks #1."

It really feels like if we can get to the bye week undefeated we'll be in great shape. OL will have 5 games of reps together, all of the new starters and transfers will have gone through 3 P4 opponents (2 on the road) and hopefully the offense will start hitting stride.

I know there will be very tough games left vs Bama and OU on the road, aggie and SC, but if we get to 5-0 I feel really good about us going to Atlanta.

Crain & Co as well as Josh Pate agreed with BK's press conference.

Crain and Co obviously didn't watch the game.

What makes this team more suspect is how far Clemson has fallen. Obviously they weren’t the great team the preseason pundits thought they were.

Obviously, these people haven't reviewed the "experts" posts on this board who know everything about this LSU team.

I think they understand what's going on a little better than most here

Rat Poison.

I don't believe BK saying that Nuss is hurt.

Really? Nuss hasn't been throwing right this season so far. Definitely, he's got to be hurt. He hasn't been the gunslinger yet this season. I would sit him this week and play Van Buren the first half and Hurley the second half.

Or tech...dont forget Tech. We sucked.

Look, long plays count, but take away 2 plays and we were not very effective overall. Thank God their qb is incapable of not throwing it to us

That was said every week about the defense in 2023...all the way to wasted Heisman season for Daniels. And we were talking about a 2nd year DC who had a solid first season. Sound familiar?

The pieces are in place again for LSU to make a championship run. Just assuming the offense will "come together" is foolish. Either opponents now have a good handle on how to stop Sloan's approach after nearly 20 games of data...or his approach simply isn't effective with the personnel he has. Either way, just "waiting" for it to come together isn't going to solve anything. Sloan HAS to adjust, and he has one last game to do it before the SEC gauntlet starts in earnest

But then he ranks Penn State #2. Have to question his judgement there. I mean they have beat 3 FCS teams With only 3 ranked teams one their entire schedule. Hard to take his rank for Penn serious

Nobody should give a flying frick about what anyone on this board believes.

Both things can be right at the same time. It was enough to beat an SEC team somewhat convincingly. We have a strong defense and a veteran QB. It doesn't look pretty, and while it's worrying, it's not time to hit the panic button yet.

So are these guys just praising Florida’s defense?

Nuss could’ve ripped them apart if he was able to push the ball down field.

Herbie has more knowledge about college football in his little toe, than 90% of the people on this board.
