Why not play him a quarter or bench him for the week and let him rest?

If he’s as hurt as they say then he shouldn’t play.

Its southeastern…

Someone help me think of a way to make money every time an LSU fan says something about the backup quarterback. I’ll cut you in 50-50

Play him for the first half. If the score is 9-0, then go ahead and play him the 3rd qtr. If its 12-3, go ahead and play him in the 4th.

Let rest. No practice just straight rehab all day.

Perhaps you missed the news of the day.

BK said Nuss is hurt and would need a week off during the bye week to heal.

People are saying why not treat this is a bye week

I would sit him but players want to play. Will need to be a stern decision by Kelly. Now if the docs say sitting him is not going to make a difference in his healing by OM game then play him a couple of series and then sit him.

You can only heal with rest. Especially, if a ligament, muscle or cartilage.

Play the two backups and rely on the defense. If they can’t beat SELU without NUSS, we have deeper problems.

Let him sit. He will only play 1 game over the next 3.5 weeks if he sits SELA, and plays the rest.

Seems like it would be better to run Van Buren out there and get Nuss the rest. I know you would like to get Nuss as many snaps as possible to get reps with all the new receivers but the offense we're running isn't doing that anyway so at least get him healthy

Let him rest, but he can also be emergency backup. Let the other 2 QB's get some reps.
