So, how good is the Southeastern defense?

Just wondering so I will be prepared in case the offense struggles again that I shouldn’t be alarmed, after all it’s just week four.

The offense will sputter like always. But when your defense gives up less than a TD/ game you should still win games.

Real good. One of the top ones in whatever conference and whatever division they play. Be prepared for a defensive slugfest.

Bad enough for BK to finally establish the run game but good enough to make Sloan look incompetent.

SLU has a legit defense for their level. Couple that with a Vanilla offense and they may hang around long enough to make the scoreboard worth a visit just to watch the melts.

We will know more after Ole Miss.

They've allowed 24, 24, and 3 points in their three games. So pretty good-- 17 points/ game. Not LSU good, but good enough to create problems for a struggling Tiger offense.

It may not matter, watch the first step on each linemen when executing blocks or first step on a pass block. Its very bad at times. Improper angles on agressive blocks and pass blocks totally fail when giving ground losing correct foot work that allow the defender to get by. I mean at least get a dam stale mate. Smh

I'm wondering if LSU will be up comfortably big so we can see the 2nd and 3rd stringers play to get some critical reps. I thought we would see that during the La Tech game, but .....

Well, I will be glad when SEC goes to 9 game schedule so they don’t schedule the likes of Southeastern anymore. Ridiculous game this week is an insult to the paying fans. There won’t even be a betting line.

If they have 11 men on the field…our offense will make them look elite

In game 1 they were shut out 24 - 0 by the team we played last week LA Tech. Then they rolled over two 0 - 3 teams Murray State and MVSU. Not so concerned about their defense however their offense can scores some points vs. lesser teams

Well that’s good because we average 17 points per game on offense.

I'm looking at another stinker of a game Saturday night -- maybe 20-7 Tigers. But a win... is a win.

I remember LSU played Southeastern back in 2018, with Joe Burrow. Tigers weren't impressive then, even with the greatest QB in history. I remember he completed a Hail Mary pass right before halftime which was contested in the endzone by a Lion safety.
