I am amazed at how many commented on the spelling of our new coach's last name. I wonder how many are true LSU fans. In any case, I hope coach Kiffens has a long successful career at LSU.
NO....he was the first choice.
I think he answers to both spellings.

We are fortunate to get Kiffen and hopefully he will be our coach for a long time with great success. I hope he has the success of Saban with the tenure of Cholly McClendon.

Baws, it could be worse, this old Tiger lives in Minnesota whose state team U of M plays U of Iowa every year for 'Floyd of Rosedale' a pig trophy. All meant to be in fun like the Boot and the players love probably more than the fans.

They are 8- 2, have only beaten 1 team with a winning record (Mizzou State 7 - 3), lost to Toledo 6 - 4 and to FIU 5 - 5. I'm sure they will bring their best to Tiger Stadium.

In game 1 they were shut out 24 - 0 by the team we played last week LA Tech. Then they rolled over two 0 - 3 teams Murray State and MVSU. Not so concerned about their defense however their offense can scores some points vs. lesser teams
