This is a team going into week four with zero wins and does not play another ranked team all year.

Even if they go 10–2 that will not be an impressive résumé with their schedule

You underestimate the media push that will get behind them if they win 10 straight

Having a bye after week 1 is bizarre scheduling

If they win 10 straight to close the season they 100% will be in the playoff.

"They're playing the best football in the country right now".
I can hear it already.

This is unfortunately a very likely possibility.

The media would push the '10 game winning streak!' narrative to get them a bubble spot, despite the fact they will not have a single quality win.

Depending on how the rest of the field looks, it's possible they are left out at 10-2 with a trash resume but it will take the 3rd loss to make it 100% a done deal.

Hogs should be able to score as much if not more than A&M, and it's in Arkansas. Would definitely end any shot.

Doesn’t matter. It’s Notre Dame. They will be in if they win out.

If Indiana can get in beating nobody, Notre Dame certainly can.

This should be true but it's probably not. They could probably lose another one and get in being the media darlings they are

Meh. They're still very much in contention.
They have looked good in both games. Miami is looking good and A&M could be ranked at the end of the season.

Notre Dame will most likely move up in the rankings in anticipation of a possible 10 game win streak.

LOL ND is a media darling. They will get it with three losses if the scenario is right.

If they win out the rest of the schedule, and TAMU and Miami prove to be playoff teams this year, I could see ND sneaking a spot in as well depending on how the overall cfb season shapes off.

They won't win out, they have a tough schedule. Probably 8-4.

Arkansas on the road is the only potential loss

Very good chance they win out

They lost to Northern Illinois last year and were the 5th ranked team. If they win 10 straight they will easily make it in. If they lose to Arkansas I think they still have an outside chance
