Notre Dame played Ohio St for it all last year with Riley Leonard at QB.

Freeman is doing something right.

The biggest game of their season, yes.

Freeman needs to rid himself of his coordinators and focus on keeping the team together. Rest of the season is practice at this point. Lot of freshman and sophomore talent to make a run next year if he holds it together.

Right but to made it to the national championship game.

Penn State couldn't knock them off neither could Georgia.

I guess you're getting at that since they lost Northern Illinois that we should ignore everything else.

Good idea.

I didn’t watch it, but on ESPN gamecast has ND going for 2 after their last TD when up by 6 and failing.

Is that accurate? And if so why did ND do that?

Lost to Northern Illinois, got gifted a spot in the playoffs due to a weak schedule. Put together a couple of good games to start playoffs, then got throttled in the BIG game. Now started 0-2 this year against the 2 best teams on their schedule.

That’s what I am getting at.

Holder, who shouldn’t even be on the team after he ran to sit on the bench at Bama only to come back crying, fumbled the snap on the extra point and tried to throw a pass.

It was a point after attempt. Beuchner was holding and dropped the snapped and tried to make a play out of it. Almost pulled it together, too.

Thanks.

That’s makes more sense. The ESPN gamecast descriptions don’t deal with a play like that very well and just labeled it like a regular 2 point conversion attempt.

Mostly true in the regular seasons, but they did have a really good playoff run last year.
