I'm not sure what your post means, but in their conversation "barred" means they've passed the bar in that state and can practice. Some states call it "admitted". I don't they mean barred like forbidden.

I remember when I was in UAE in 2015. I was around for the local news that a woman who had stabbed an American teacher living in UAE in a shopping mall was executed by firing squad. She committed that murder not even eight months prior.

Makes you think.

Even if he’s acquitted- especially if he’s acquitted- he will not be saved from the death penalty.

And if she helps get him acquitted, well….

Best she can hope for is that he dies of natural causes in prison before his execution.

At the very least should undergo a serious review by the Bar Association.

Isn't she an Officer of the Court in that position?
