Tik-Tok and other garbage isn’t allowed while they’re living under my roof. Quit sticking screens in front of your kids with no idea what they’re looking at.

Its not "social media" per se. Discord isnt social media like X, Facebook, or Instagram. Its more anonymous.

I've been saying for a long time that kids need to get out and meet people and get to know them. Real friends, not social media friends. When you get to know someone, you realize you often have lots in common. Even if you don't, it's hard to hate someone who genuinely wants to interact with you and find out about you.

It's definitely true. I've doom scrolled and posted and while nothing crazy, I've said things I shouldn't have/regretted/etc.
But certainly those us who engage in all sorts of rabbit hole obsession on this board don't really have much license to tell young people not to do the same.
We're probably better equipped to avoid it dominating our real lives, but nonetheless.

It's not all social media. It's the entire leadership from the Democratic party. This Whore - Kamala Harris claimed Trump was a threat to Democracy several times during her campaign. AOC and Maxine Waters have said worse. Waters instructed people to openly harass Republicans out in public. They're all evil.

Well, considering 3300 people a year die as a result of texting and driving, we should ban smartphones outright because kids lives are more important than smart phones. amirite dems?
