Im interested in your recommendations on a CC holster. I carry a Glock 43 if that matters. Living where I do, I typically have on shorts and a T shirt. I dont do a lot of button up shirts or long pants.

Size wise, I am about bigger guy at 6-1 and 235 pounds.

What are you guys using?

TIA

Usually a Glock 26 or 17 in jeans and a t-shirt for me.

Glock sport combat holster for OWB (best damn holster ever and CHEAP!)
Some basic kydex thing for iwb or appendix
Uncle mikes pocket holster
Hill people gear chest rig for running

I probably have 10 other holsters I dont use.

Look into Safariland Species iwb holsters. They're about $50-$60 and the clip rotates so you can take the holster on and off really easily and won't get caught on your belt/waistband.

They also come in cordura and have an inner lining. Safariland doesnt make shite, either.

JX Tactical also makes very comfortable IWB holsters and optimize models for all body types, including fat guys, skinny guys, etc. They're about $75.

Tried every cheap POS on Amazon and these both blow them away.

Also may want to look into SOB Tactical Condom holsters. They're leather, but supposed to be very comfortable.

If you're a big guy though, look at the JX.

I have the TREX Arms Ironside Hybrid Holster. Say what you want about TREX Arms, but it’s a damn fine holster for me.

Glock 43x MOS carried at the 5:00 position. They have nice appendix carry options as well.

You’ll get a lot of recommendations for Tenicor, T1C, etc. I tried plenty of those, but none worked me.

Get an Enigma. It’s a belt/faceplate system that the holster screws onto. It decouples your belt and holster. You can carry in gym shorts and a t shirt because you don’t need to wear a belt.

It is expensive. It is the best for comfort AND concealment in my opinion. Add a mastermind tactics pillow and you’ll be set. I had issues with the leg leash thing, so I removed it and put a DCC clip I took off of another holster. I’ve spent more money on holsters that sit in a box collecting dust than the cost of the Enigma, so if I had just started here, I would have saved money overall.

I see this recommended alot online. Is it better than all the other kydex stuff out there?

I've tried a few and for the price, it's perfect for me. Simple, thin and compact, easy to conceal with several comfort adjustments, and a strong clip.

I carry at 1700 fully canted and it's best I found in my limited search. I can also appreciate how nuanced finding the perfect holster can be.

ETA in regards to your question is it better. There are several premium kydex options available, but Vedder is somewhat reasonably priced compared to how expensive the other options can get. In its price class, I don't think there is better than the light tuck from my experience.

I won't recommend one because different people like different things.

The one's I have a leather desalts IWB. I like the leather a lot.
Have a few black point tactical and they're good.
And lastly have a tenicor for my staccato (only ones that I can find for this gun when I bought it a few months ago)

The recommendation that I will make for you though is to buy a gun belt. They make a big difference in carrying a gun. I have a couple of Kore belts and have been very pleased with them.

Just started using a Veil Solutions Ghost for my J-frame 642 powerport. I carry tucked at appendix, and swapped out the very high quality DCC clip with an UltiClip that totally disappears behind the belt. I still occasionally use a vintage Renegade ankle holster inside my boot for the same gun, but accessibility with the Ghost is exponentially better. When I can't carry something that large, I carry an NAA .22 Magnum in a Sticky Holsters pocket holster.

Use a Hidden Hybrid IWB w/ "claw". Incredibly comfortable.

Tenicor is my favorite. The cramming bar instead of a wing really reduces the bulk of the holster making it very comfy while maintaining a wing's concealability.

I've been using this one with my CZ 75 P-01 for eight years, and it's still going strong.

You have a CC license? I don't think we have to have that in Texas.

What do yall recommend for a easy on-off paddle holster that actually conceals decently? I have some safriland ALS paddle holsters and I like them a lot, but they dont conceal worth a damn.
