Marshawn Lattimore is done. It wasn't just the injury last year.
Loomis fricks up far more often than he does well, but he gets respect when its due. We raped WAS in that trade.

Hold your horses until after this game with Sanker starting. He's who we picked with the 3rd rounder. Quincy Riley with the 4th.
We at least got rid od that contract.

How bad is their gm, the one trade Loomis has won the last decade…
Posted on 9/11/25 at 8:38 pm to Antib551
Yup, especially b/c I think he blew our 2nd rounder and early third.
Much better players he passed on.

I’d say he won the Jimmy Graham trade.

You think so? He blew the Stephone Anthony pick. So we were left with a good solid center, but not all pro caliber for a tight end on a HoF trajectory.
That we then had to overpay for butter finger Fleener and Jared cook who stopped us from ever advancing back to the superbowl.
I count that trade as a major L for both teams….

even a broken clock is right twice a day,
I'll take it but Loomis still has his head up his arse from the good old days. There is no accountability with that guy.

wasn't the Devin Neal 6th round pick part of that deal?
Posted on 9/11/25 at 9:45 pm to SlowFlowPro
He just got busted for holding.

But we'll have to wait and see how these picks work out before fully grading the trade. Even one hit is massive win combined with dumping Latts contract.

The problem is, that Kool-Aid plays like the current Marshon and not the Pro Bowl level/Rookie of the Year Lattimore of the past.

Latt fricked around and took too much time off. Mainly the last 2 years. Level has dropped so much. We still love you slime.

Just stfu geezus. Same Ole shite every post.

Yah Kool Aid is the worst number 1 corner in the league. He 100% has made it this far bc of a Kool nickname. He's all flash and no substance as a player.

CB Marshon Lattimore / 5th to WAS for 3rd / 4th / 6th.=Win/Win wash
-NO had to get cap relief and get younger, we weren't winning anything last year or this year, WAS is a contender, so the compensation already on the surface was a Win for NO. Lattimore is earning $16M in '25 & $16.5M in '26
-Lattimore missed 6/8 regular season games for WAS, but did play in all 3 postseason games.
-Saints used those picks on S-Jonas Sanker / CB-Quincy Riley / RB-Devin Neal.
-Commanders traded that 5th to 49ers for WR-Deebo Samuel
-Early 2025 Marshon looks to have lost a step.
-Deebo has 15rec/18tar for 121 yards & 1TD, 1car/19 yards & 1TD.
-All 3 of the Saints rookies are on the active roster with Sanker now starting in Week-2, Riley has shown flashes and may be able to push Yiadom if he doesn't step up from last week, and Neal got a couple of rushes in Week-1.
-SEA was needed bigger bodied playmakers. NO desperately needed a C. Jimmy was already paid well for a TE but became disgruntled after not getting WR money, and we needed cap relief again.
-Unger anchored Saints line for 4 seasons.
-Saints used the 1st to select LB-Stephone Anthony. 1st year starter making a ton of tackles initially, but constantly out of position and eventually lost starting role and becoming a ST guy.
-Jimmy was solid for SEA but nowhere near the HOF trajectory he was on
-SEA packaged our 4th with their 3rd/5th/6th to move up to select WR-Tyler Lockett

Getting out of the contract is a huge part of the trade, not an after thought

Loomis FINALLY traded a guy early instead of late and did great.
We will likely never see him do it again
