A better description of my post earlier about friends LOLing in the group chat

I know a lot of you think these people are crazy blue haired antifa type liberals but they are in fact highly educated (some lawyers) and highly successful professionals and business owners. They have families with young kids. They fit in perfectly well in polite sophisticated company.
Sadly they suffer from extreme TDS. Like I said they are very liberal and I’m conservative. We’ve had plenty of deep respectful debates but of course neither side changes opinion.
They all want more “gun control” over the years and this is the opportunity they’ve been apparently waiting for to say things like “Thoughts and prayers…but no gun control” and are enjoying the irony that Charlie was talking about shootings when he was shot.
The point I’m making is by all outward appearances these people are “crazy” or “the lunatic left” these are normal everyday members of society that suffer from major TDS/R/right hate.

Gun control sounds like a perfect outcome for them, except it's the same like calling Republicans Nazis, etc. They don't know what gun control would involve nor can they tell you why a Republican is a Nazi. No solutions, just tantrums and insults.

I too know a decent number of people like that. I call them limousine liberals. I was at a birthday party when Trump was shot, and I could not believe what some people were saying. They are fools who dont realize that the lot they are throwing in with would eat them alive if they could. They took the "they are deplorables" line hook, line and sinker and never looked back.

Its not hard to figure out...
The easier someone's life is, the easier it is to support liberal ideas like saving the planet and everything for everyone..
The only exception is when those people start to move into their neighborhoods. THEN something HAS to be done

Its not as simple as that when they are family (like my sisters). I dont think telling my wife (center right) that her friends need to be cut off would go over well either

Remember, back in the 80s and 90s when school voucher programs were proposed, it was not the Republicans who killed it. The limousine liberals were not going to accept any black children into their private academies.
