A Baton Rouge man was arrested after police say he exposed himself multiple times outside of a fitness center and attempted to solicit sex from a minor during one occasion.

The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office says it received three separate obscenity complaints involving the same suspect. Deputies say each incident occurred at a fitness center in the 19000 block of Highland Road.

According to deputies, the first complaint from April 2025, came from an employee at the center who reported a man sitting in his vehicle, which was parked next to hers, and exposing himself to her as she was leaving. The victim says the man was touching himself and attempted to solicit sexual favors from her. According to deputies, she told him to leave and took a picture of his license plate. The license plate showed the vehicle was registered to a woman, so at that time, the driver was not identified.

The second reported incident occurred in May 2025, at that same fitness center and involved a minor. Deputies say the minor was leaving the gym when a man began shouting at her from an open window of a vehicle similar to the one involved in the previous incident. The man allegedly attempted to solicit sex from her as well. The victim also allegedly said it appeared the man was touching himself while talking to her, but his vehicle door blocked her view.

The third complaint came in August 2025, when the initial victim called deputies to say the same man was in the parking lot of the gym again. Deputies say she reported that he was touching himself.
