It’s incredible at the Blackhawks games. Instead of standing there quiet, the crowd yells and cheers the entire time he’s singing and culminates with “was STILL THERE…”
I don’t love the national anthem in sports, but that’s most certainly the way to do it. Pull up some of those clips. Sounds even better in the arena.

chicago fans have always been the best. this was the greatest one i have ever seen. i think they had reported earlier that the b52's had taken off from barksdale and were enroute to bomb iraq to start the gulf war.
