I got outside right before 7 this morning to pull my 50+ okra plants from my garden. I had cut them down to 3 ft. off the ground and spent an hour picking up all the cut off pieces and then had to dig out the main stalks since they were pretty hefty and firmly rooted.
I did break into a sweat, but nowhere near as bad as it would have been last week. It was pleasantly cool to do that work and I now have a pickup truck load of debris sitting in the back of my driveway to be hauled off later this week.
