We really need to try Curne at RT. Davis was getting his shite pushed in against a middle of the pack C-USA team.

How is Nuss rating so high? He honestly looked awful at times. I don't understand PPF grades. I guess they slapped it on OL mostly because they did look awful and made the entire O worse.

I haven’t watch any film but I had a buddy that watched Power Hour and noted that Nuss actually made some really good plays and we had a lot of drops. But yeah I was surprised to see him in the top 5 as well.

Mansoor & Barion are those dudes.

You get a feeling early on this is just who they are & what it’s gonna be week in, week out. We are so back (as soon as we gut the entire offensive staff & re-learn how to run the ball).

It was very 50/50. They did drop a lot of passes that should've been caught but he was usually off on those passes with accuracy. Not making excuses for WRs but his accuracy was pretty bad all night. He threw so far behind Brown it turned into an INT that should've been a walk in TD where he torched 3 DBs playing over the top.

Late in the game he threw an excellent pass off his back foot in pressure and then another one that should've been INT but was picture perfect passing. He has moments like those obviously but it's always 50/50 and makes you hold your breath. He looked bad as much as he looked good.

Scrambling out of the pocket making it easy for DL to sack you when he didn't need to, one play he looked absolutely silly falling down. Looked like some player with no athleticism on that play. I just don't see it. My eyes and most fans will tell you Nuss didn't deserve a high grade. But to his defense, when the OL is that bad, you're going to think about it every play with 0 run game. Same story as last year and Nuss had identical same tendencies with no progression.

Can't make deep throws consistently(I really don't understand this with his arm strength), bonehead decisions, presses the passes too much and doesn't run. Exact same tendencies on Nuss entire career here. He is what he is at this point and he's not changing.

I'm glad they had this game to knock them back down to earth. Tech has a good defense. They shut the team they played out last week. last year they had a top 15 defense in the country. They're going to drive their conference into fits. They were legit fast, disciplined, and did not back down on anything LSU did. That defense is dangerous for any P5 team that plays them. If they had any offense they legit could've threatened LSU last night.

I'm going to guess he's the one who had the busted coverage and allowed the only play Tech made all game.

Or might need to move Josh Thompson to tackle and let curne eat at guard . Think that will be a better option.

When the other Green (Donovan Green) gets on the field the TE position group will play better.

Interesting. Why do you think the coaches are choosing to leave the best TE on the roster on the bench?

I guess Chester played much better than it seemed. I thought he’d be in the 30s or 40s

Nuss made some really good plays. He didn’t audible enough plays and forced some things, but we have come very far from what we think is bad vs what we used to think

Because Trey'dez's ceiling is so high. You would think that with all of Trey'dez's upside the would be stacking the stats line but he only has two catches for 17 yards and one TD for the last 1.5 games and he is a poor run blocker.

Donovan Green does not have as much upside as Trey'dez but he can give this offense more production in terms of run blocking and can still be productive in pass catching.

I don’t know if PFF picks things up like under throwing a receiver or not taking off when there is open space. Nuss did check down some which I’m sure is part of the PFF evaluation. Bottom line is the offensive scheme still sucks but Nuss didn’t play as bad as many on here thought. Davis has issues pass blocking which I believe everyone saw last night.

I hope you’re right. Trey’Dez had a 77.8 run blocking grade in the Clemson game.

If Nuss would tuck and run about 3-5 times per game, it would offer another dimension to defend
