Did anyone see the explosive run Harlem had when he got in to the rotation? He did a cutback, and went at least 20 yards. His extra gear had him leaving some in the dust.
He needs more touches for sure. We will see more of him against Florida, I hope.

He was RB2 last night, which exactly what he should be.

He's gotta hold onto the ball. if he proves he can do that he's going to get lots of reps to spell CD

He may have more acceleration than Durham in short bursts but Durham is arguably faster - ran the 100m .15s faster than Berry’s best. Hard to say how much that translates in pads and at football weight though.

Does Durham seem less explosive this year or is he just being too patient for the blocks to develop ala Lavion Bell back in the day?

He needs more touches, especially in space. Need to actually throw him the ball one of those times that they motion him out to the boundary.

What impressed me wasn't his speed, but his balance, it's nice having a couple of backs that don't just go down at first contact.

And that false start in the 2m offense is inexcusable.

Berry is great and so is Durham, but with our O-line in front of them, they have little opportunity to make an explosive play.

Bo Jackson and Herschel Walker would struggle behind our O-line.

To the naked eye Berry is clearly quicker, shifter.

Aside from that 25 yard run against clemson, durham goes down at first contact each time, also.

There is track speed and football speed. Berry is much quicker on the field than Durham.

Agree, even running in the open field, Durham looks sluggish. I DGAF about his track times.

Berry has game breaker ability.

I think we have a gap in a really good pass blocking RB. I think Kaleb Jackson could fit that role…he’s the only one with good size. Durham whiffed on a pass block last night. I don’t expect Berry to be strong at blocking and J. Johnson is small.

When you’re O- line doesn’t open up holes, it won’t even matter how fast he is.

He can’t use his explosiveness until his o line gives him some holes to run through

They only used Durham up the middle. Earl Campbell would have negative yards with that line. Durham needs to get on Sloan to call more exotic plays for him. He might transfer out of this play calling keeps up. He is a NFL back but not with Sloan
