They are both matadors at best.

I am having trouble believing we don’t have another backup who can actually make contact with the person he’s supposed to block. Also Chester must not be good at calling out the blocking assignments as the number of unblocked defenders was horrific.

Take the under on the UF game point total.

Does anyone know how many snaps Echols got? I know I saw him out there a little.

Did anyone (OL) besides him, the starters, and Chester (sub for Moore) play?

BK’s strength is OL/TE so far this year it’s not looking too good. B Davis just seems to not be able to coach a run scheme isn’t that why they brought in Atkins?

Davis was far better in the 2nd half. His first half was bad tho. This is a redshirt freshmen tho starting his 2nd game. No excuses for guys like Chester tho

I watched some plays where green was supposed to chip or the RB. And they whiffed on the chip so I dont put all the blame on Davis. The only people who want to block are the WRs. Which is crazy to me. The OL plays so soft. They need to simplify the blocking scheme asap. But to see Chester in the back field no matter if it’s a pass or run is inexcusable. Put a freshman in at this point.

Can someone explain why the hell we don’t at least try Carius Curne?? I mean with all the hype how does he not help the run game??

Its not like they are running some complex running scheme when it comes to blocking. Its stuff you learn in high school. Zone right, zone left, counter, power, duo. Can't get much simpler than that.

Is dj Chester not intelligent? I swear I remember BK saying they picked him to be the next center because of his high IQ.

chester plays too high for a center, had the same issues last year
he is 6’6, and DTs get under him pretty regularly

Moore is the QB of the line. He led the OL last week. Chester is clueless. it’s on Davis that we don’t have a good, smart Center via high school recruiting. Having to depend on finding a stud in the portal every year - will not work.
